#KeeleyCares: 2020 Dodgeball Tournament

By: Mary Sly

On March 6, 2020, we hosted our annual #KeeleyCares Dodgeball Tournament benefitting Good Shepherd Children and Family Services. This is one of our favorite events throughout the year and 2020 was even bigger and better!

This fun-filled event was held at the Bud Dome in St. Louis with over 600 people were in attendance! With music, a raffle, and plenty of food and drinks, there was fun to be had by everyone. We are so grateful for the 250 amazing Keeley'ns who volunteered their time to either play or volunteer. The tournament was comprised of 30+ teams from Keeley Companies and beyond, competing for the championship title while supporting a great cause. Smiles and laughter filled the courts during each round, and it was amazing to see our people come together to support this incredible organization.

This year, the tournament raised over $65,000! Our Keeley'ns hosted fundraising efforts leading up to the tournament to raise extra money for Good Shepherd, and the team that raised the most money won a night at a St. Louis Cardinals game. Through raffles, pie-ing Keeley'ns in the face, and more, we were able to provide much needed funds and assistance to Good Shepherd. I am so proud of our Keeleyn's!

Check out this awesome video to relive the night:

Good Shepherd Children and Family Services is a remarkable organization in St. Louis. Their team works hard "connecting children with families & keeping families connected." Their dedicated mission continuously makes our community a better and happier place.

In order to achieve their mission, Good Shepherd has four main programs; Foster Care, Infant Adoption, Pregnancy & Parenting Support, and a Maternity shelter for pregnant and parenting teen moms and their babies. These programs offer help, resources, and safe havens for struggling families. Our efforts directly impact these programs and help keep them running.

Thank you to our Keeley'ns that volunteered their time and treasure. We can't wait for next year!
