KeeleyU + Maryville + John O'Leary

On Thursday, August 5, we had the pleasure of hosting a one-of-a-kind event launching our innovative partnership with Maryville University before hearing from world-renowned keynote speaker, John O’Leary. Maryville graciously hosted us in their incredible auditorium, giving everyone the opportunity to see their beautiful campus.

The event began with Keeley Companies and Maryville University leadership taking the stage. John Regan, Vice President of Learning and Professional Development, invited Rusty Keeley, CEO of Keeley Companies, Dr. Mark Lombardi, President of Maryville University, and Scott Chadwick, Maryville’s Chief of Corporate Partnerships, to the stage to discuss how Keeley Companies and Maryville are partnering to take professional development to the next level, redefining the relationship between businesses and educational institutions. KeeleyU, our Professional Development Program will join forces with MaryvilleWorks to expand and create opportunities for Keeley’ns to further their education and learn new skills.

After this exciting announcement, we welcomed world-renowned speaker and author John O’Leary, to the stage. John O’Leary recently released his second book, IN AWE, where he identifies the five senses children innately possess and explains why those senses fade. Throughout his presentation, he shared emotional and humorous stories about how we can unleash those senses again as adults. His inspirational life had everyone in the audience crying and laughing, all while showing how to seek fresh insights, reach for new solutions, and live our best lives. This was an amazing presentation and we are so grateful to John for joining us and sharing his story.

After the speakers concluded, everyone joined us outside for a fun happy hour! We were excited to get back together in person in a safe and socially distant outdoor environment. This was the perfect conclusion to an amazing evening.

Thank you to our partners at Maryville University for hosting the event on their world-class campus, and special thank you to our dear friend, John O’Leary, for truly inspiring us all.
