KeeleyWay: Scorecards + STP Season

Despite the challenges brought on by 2020, our people have continued to work hard and support our growth. At the beginning of every year, all businesses and support groups create a scorecard with the purpose to achieve goals and propel our vision. I am proud to say that most of those goals were met or exceeded this past year, and we are so excited to watch our Keeley'ns continue to exceed expectations in 2021! Our Strategic Planning Meetings, or STPs as we like to call them, also take place at the beginning of every year to set the tone and expectations for the upcoming year. Alignment is vital for our success, and the primary focus of these STP meetings. The days are long, but full of collaboration, hard work, and goal planning. It is so rewarding to see what everyone plans to accomplish in 2021 to support our mission and vision.

KeeleySafe: RAVS+ Designation + Continuous Training

Our number one priority is the safety of our people AND partners. L. Keeley is honored to have received the RAVS+ Designation through ISNetworld. L. Keeley was nominated by a long-time partner for RAVS+. In order to attain the designation, we had to prove to the reviewers within ISNetworld that we have an organizational structure that supports our risk management program, our safety culture, and most importantly, the risk management program of the contractor that nominated us. 1% of all member contractors within ISNetworld have the RAVS+ designation; put that into context of over 60,000 contractors, and it’s a pretty amazing accomplishment. At the end of every year, we hold continuous training sessions for our Keeley’ns to take advantage of. It is incredibly important that our people are up to date on their certifications, as well as safety trends. Over 100 Keeley’ns showed up for OSHA Trainings, Safety Think Tank Sessions, and even a Defensive Driving Seminar. We are so grateful for our people’s dedication to safety. #KeeleyCares: The Urban League

This summer, over 250 Keeley'ns gave their valuable time to serve over 60,000 families through the Urban League Food Drives. We even had one dedicated Keeley'n formally invited to join the Urban League Board. With over $2 million in donations and gifts contributed to this effort, we have witnessed firsthand that "Together We Make a Difference." Well, we couldn’t just stop once the summer ended and we knew we had to get back together and help those in need during the holiday season. On November 21 and December 19, 50 Keeley'ns came out to serve 3,500 families and provide them with food and necessities for the holidays. We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis and can't wait to see how we can continue to make a difference together. KeeleyLife: Virtual Yoga + Mental Health

Staying active is extremely important for maintaining your overall health, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. Melissa Swank, Keeley Companies Health and Wellness Coach, hosts virtual yoga sessions on our Facebook page every month. They are tailored to every skill level and are a great way to unwind and clear your mind at the end of the day. Like our Keeley Companies Facebook page to get notified when Melissa is going live!

Everyone has been struggling this year, but as the weather gets colder and it gets darker earlier, it is imperative that we prioritize our mental health. KeeleyLife provides many resources for our people and their families to support them with whatever they may be struggling with. KeeleyLife's passion for mental health led April Lopinot, VP of Human Resources and KeeleyLife Leader, to start a video series called Mental Health Minutes. In these videos, April meets with experts to discuss various mental health issues that people may be dealing with and how they can cope and move forward. Click here to watch Mental Health Minutes.

KeeleyU: Virtual Sessions + 2021 Curriculum

At the start of the pandemic, KeeleyU had to pivot and get the entire 2020 curriculum up and running virtually. While KeeleyU is used to hosting sessions online, this was the first time that all sessions would be held virtually. Our team worked hard to seamlessly integrate and execute every session to our Keeley'ns across the country and we are proud to say that we are still hosting multiple virtual sessions every month. From defensive driving and OSHA trainings, to leadership tips and Rusty's presentation on our i404 system, KeeleyU has given our people countless opportunities to get involved and take advantage of these incredibly valuable sessions.

We hope to get back to in-person sessions soon, but as we plan our 2021 curriculum, courses will still be held virtually with recordings being uploaded to the LMS. We are so excited for some of the powerful and talented speakers we have joining us in 2021. Check back soon to see what you can tune in for!
