#KeeleyCares: 2022 Year in Review

Year after year, #KeeleyCares engages and inspires Keeley'ns to embrace community involvement by volunteering their time, talent, and treasure. Giving back is at the heart of everything we do, and we are grateful to be able to serve our communities across the nation.

With over 100 opportunities to participate in this year, Keeley’ns across the nation spent countless hours and dollars giving back to their communities and making a positive impact. This year, we got the privilege of supporting deserving organizations like Urban League, Texas Ramp Project, Boys Hope Girls Hope, CHADS, JDRF, The Youth and Family Center, and Rebuilding Together – just to name a few. We are so proud and inspired by our Keeley’ns for wholeheartedly giving back to those that need it most.

Keeley Companies CEO, Rusty Keeley, was named as Co-Chair of the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ 100th Annual Campaign. We were proud to participate in our first United Way Week in 2022, bringing awareness to the amazing work of The United Way and learning more about the goals of the 100th anniversary campaign. The United Way of Greater St. Louis proudly serves over 160 agencies and organizations across the region, and we are proud to announce that our Keeley’ns, in partnership with the #KeeleyCares Foundation, raised $150,000! Thank you to every Keeley’n who contributed to the success of this week. Click here to read more about our week supporting United Way of Greater St. Louis.

Each year, Keeley Companies is proud to support the life-changing efforts of Pedal the Cause as they work to fund ground-breaking cancer research. Keeley’ns showed up in full force this year with 45+ riders and 70+ volunteers, and raising over $50,000, bringing our lifetime total to over $603,000! #KeeleyCares once again had the honor of sponsoring the volunteer tent for the weekend and helped direct all the volunteers that came to be a part of this incredible event remembering the lives and legacies of those touched by cancer. Our ever-growing Wall of Compassion is one of the things we are most proud of, and we will be starting off 2023 by adding eight new organizations to the wall! The #KeeleyCares Wall of Compassion represents the charities and organizations that Keeley’ns are most passionate about and invested in nationwide. A charity qualifies for the wall when we have five or more team members donate at least 40 hours and raise over $1,000 dollars in a calendar year. Once added to the wall, #KeeleyCares continues to help those charities year after year. These organizations serve all aspects of our surrounding communities, allowing us to spread our wings in all directions. Check out the eight new deserving organizations we get the privilege of serving below and be on the lookout for more information about each one!

In 2022, #KeeleyCares officially became a private 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation. Oftentimes people are skeptical of making monetary donations because they are unsure of how their money might be spent. At #KeeleyCares we have a relationship with each Wall of Compassion charity and have a Keeley’n who is a champion for each charity. Every dollar donated is being used to help the underserved in your community. The #KeeleyCares Foundation allows Keeley’ns and their families to donate to Wall of Compassion charities in an easy way and receive a 25% match. The foundation will send your charity of choice a check with your name, making your dollars stretch further for your favorite charity! The foundation helps nurture organizations that help strengthen lives in an equitable way, and with the support of Keeley’ns nationwide, we will be able to touch the lives of countless deserving communities.

We cannot wait to see what opportunities lie ahead in 2023!
